Admittedly I'm a neophyte when it comes to custom car stereo. I'm upgrading my car and likely purchasing the above setup with an enclosure from Visual Ice that fits the cubby. Curious about the following.

1. The subwoofer is rated at 500W RMS, but JL's site indicates the speaker can be operated with an amp between 150W - 500W but the mono side of the amp is 300W. Do you find the power acceptable with 300W from XD500/3v2?

2. Are you driving the underseat subs with the remaining two channels?

3. What frequency do you have your high pass frequency set for both the sub and the other two channels? (I don't want to assume you have them mirrored).

4. What turn-on mode are you using?

If you could post or send a photo of your amp settings, that would be great.
