Ive sold the E91 and bought the Mrs a TT instead..

As per the thread title, i finally gave into temptation and have sold the E91 and have decided to replace it with a TT RS for the Mrs

To be honest the E91 doesnt get used much at all, as we have the Leon for the family, and i use the Antara for work..

She's always wanted a TT and since selling her VXR last year ive been promising id buy a TTRS...

Found a 6 month old one on Autotrader the other day, called back today and they finally gave me what i wanted for the E91...

So hopefully next Saturday we'll be collecting this...

I really want an R8, but at this moment in time we have other commitments that take priorty so that'll have to wait...

Ill still be on here as i enjoy the crack, and i'm looking forward to all of the hairdresser comments

But you only live once, and im so lucky to have such a great girl in my life, so in my eyes its the least i could do for her

I have never understood the hairdresser comments regarding cars. All the macho bull about real cars for real men smacks of people who are very insecure about their own sexuality!

You buy what you want and as far as I'm concerned that's it, end of. Unless it's pink! Then again, my daughter is a hairdresser as is one of my best mates...who is an amateur boxer and martial arts afficiando...so I'm possibly desensitised!

I personally love the TT and particularly the RS! as an aside, I'm amazed at how many people post on here that they buy their wife a car! My wife chooses and buys her own cars and would be deeply insulted if I tried to suggest otherwise. Anyway, car looks great and I'm sure your wife will love it!

True mate. Everyone I know has a wife or partner who works, so it's easy to assume that that's the norm.

For sure if the main breadwinner earns a high salary the other partner might not have to work. Does not mean their life is an easier.

I think the TT RS looks great, does not seem to have the presence of an E92.

My 135i has that and it was half the price!

Nonetheless, the TTRS is great, I just don't think you get much for your cash!!

The TTS in particular is a total scam.
