f30 n55 replacing Vanos sprockets after rod bearing spun?
Hello, can someone please clarify, do you need to completely replace Vanos sprockets with new ones if there are metal shavings in the oil filter, or the bearings are spun? Ive been told by my shop, that there could be shavings stuck inside the sprockets and they could later damage the engine. And they state, that they cant disassemble them, only replace
