Help!!! Wrong TCM Battery

So I'm in the process of replacing my tcm battery due to the sos call malfunction error. I put in my model and year on fcpeuro and it showed me which battery was compatible. When I got my existing tcm battery out it is completely different than what got delivered.
I'm having so much difficulty trying to find the exact one that I need. Can anyone help me out? 2016 320i drive.

Also, can I drive the car with no tcm battery in it? Or will it throw out error codes?

FWIW always get the part number using realoem.com, then search that part number to find a source.
