When Will BMW M Performance Start To Sell Carbon Parts?

I.e. Rear diffuser, Chin Spoiler? Anyone heard any rumblings?

I'm hoping to get a discount considering I ordered 6MT. Sigh.

MPE for the E9X M3 was $4200 MSRP in Canada. The price of the F8X MPE can only be pure speculation at this point.

I hope that's for a full exhaust and not an axleback only right?

Even still that's approaching quality aftermarket pricing, sheesh. I was about to wonder out loud why they just didnt offer it standard or as an option like Chevy does with the Vette, but then again //Marketing and Profit$$$ is the obvious answer.

MPE on E9X M3 is cat back only. It is manufactured out of Inconel, an expensive and difficult to weld superalloy that allows to manufacture the exhaust with very thin walls, contributing to the weight reduction and the very particular tone it has.

The MPE could be negotiated down to the 3000~3500$ range and is worth every penny IMO, it sounds amazing

I've been looking at the cost of CF parts for the E9X M3 to get an idea. For aftermarket stuff it seems like these are decent estimates:

- CF lip ~$1000
- CF diffuser ~$1000
- CF kidneys ~$100
- CF side vents ~$100

I would assume the BMW Perf parts are 50-100% more expensive.

I'm really interested in the CF diffuser. The MP diffuser on the M6 cost $1100 so should be the same of the M4. Any idea on how much labor will be? And how much of a discount I can get?

Yeah, the carbon diffuser on my 1 was $1200. I completely expect this one to be around that.
