E93 M3 with GTS wing

Hi everyone,

I have a GTS wing and I would like to fit it to my e93 M3. I'm happy to accept that the extra boot lid weight may effect longevity of the system.

However my main question for everyone today is how does the boot lid latch with the roof down? I have concerns of the spoiler pulling open the rear boot lid as I'm not sure if it mechanically latches or not.

If anyone has a deeper understanding of the e93 roof system info would be appreciated!

And yes this is mostly for looks, I understand real effective downforce won't be there until 100 mph+

Cheers.

It has two locking mechanisms on the right and left sides. It mechanically looks at those points once it is fully engaged up or down.

Be warned though; test it with the same amount of weight before installing. I'm unsure how it will handle that type of weight while in action/motion.
