Hello all,
I have an F36 with the HiFi audio (not Harman). Sorry becasue I´m Newbie here. The sound is pretty boring on my F36 and I would like to have more enjoyable sound and quality (expending an snall amount of money, if possible).

After many readings I have the following questions:
1.- I guess that replace the HIFI OEM amp by Match Up 7BMW is the right way... If so, no needed to extra power it, just the harness? (no need to connect it to car battery directly too?).

2.- Are the setup files from the Match Up 7BMW compatible with the ones from Bimmertech??? (so if I get a file from some of you who has donde the same but with a Bimmertech amply will it work delivering the same customization?). Or other ones like the ones done by FOVEON (foveon_F36 HIFI RTA.afpx)?

3.- What about the rest of sounds of the car? The indicators...belt warning... Will they change too due to the new Amp?. (in other workds, what´s the negative side of replacing the OEM amplifier?)

Hey everyone.

Not sure if anyone knows what's going on, but i've recently tried to load the Bavsound profile into my Match up7BMW and it sounded great initially on first load, however, when I turn the car off and get back to it a few days later, the sound profile sounds different where the bass is only mid bass and missing the low end bass.

The subwoofers are still working, but the bass becomes hard and headache inducing bass. When i first load the file, the bass sounded balanced and deep. Not sure what's going on?

Also if i change the sound profile and change it back to the Bavsound profile, the sound (Bavsound profile) is the same crappy headache inducing one. BUT if i leave it for a few days and the first thing i do is load the Bavsound profile, then the sound is great again.

it's like there's a ghost.

Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

Do You guys have tune for BMW E91 with stock hifi speakers?
And the second question - I can buy cheap logic7/hk speakers (tweeters,mids and subs) is it worth to pair them with match up8bmw or go aftermarket anyway?

Hello there everyone…. I’ve been crawling through here hoping to find someone else with my setup but I haven’t been so lucky. I’m looking for a tune for a F32 Coupe with complete MATCH UP speaker upgrade, two focal subs under the seats, and one Digital Design 3512 12” “baby can you turn it down” subwoofer in the trunk. Or, just the RTA measurements for the speakers as I don’t have a way to measure the pink noise thing. Thank you!!

You can measure using a pink noise CD (buy one or burn one) and an RTA phone app. Phone apps aren't laboratory grade, but a car isn't a laboratory.

Yeah I got a file offflne and I’ve been waiting to replace my coaxial speakers replaced with the components. I just the last of the Match speakers in there and I have to redo everything anyways. I was hoping for someone with better equipment than me had done the measurements tho.

Grab REW app for Windows and put on laptop. You can then send pink noise via laptop to 3.5mm aux input.

The generator icon within has pink noise full range or custom for a frequency range.
