Early Production car P/S tension pulley diameter
Quote:
ALT pulley was in good condition. Tension pulley diameter is 70mm, exactly same as Alternator tension pulley, when all sources indicate P/S must be 65mm. Is it really came this way from factory. I don't know, no reason previous owners mess with this as mileage was only 40.000 miles (67.000km) Installed 70mm pulley but probably better replace 65mm and maybe tensioner itself stays in better position. If all 3 pulleys are original and ALT pulley ok, but P/S pulleys not, there something little bit off. Next time w'll drain coolant and remove some pipes to help pull out fan+shroud easily. Can't squeeze enough that hose between oil filter case and fan. |

Early production pulleys were both 70mm.
