Smile Broadtrippin in the E90 woot woot

When I found out there was going to be a family wedding this summer in South Dakota, I knew I wanted to road trip it. But because my parents were concerned about me driving 2600 miles round trip by myself, I decided to invite one of my best friends making it a Broadtrip. I was surprised at how well the n52 did over 20 hours of straight highway driving, if you overlook the couple of stops we made to let the car cool down a bit. One thing I did notice though was the really dramatic difference in power after climbing 6,600 feet to go over the continental divide, but overall, it held up pretty well. Since it was quite a trip, I decided I should snap a couple pics here and there, so that's what you see below. Thanks for looking

The route

Obligatory selfie

The US equivalent of the Autobahn, also known as I-15

Viva Las Vegas

First Snack stop in Utah

We drove straight through and got to witness a beautiful sunrise

First breather at a gas station in Middleofnowhere, Wyoming

Ominous rain clouds that would of course end up dumping on us

Finally got to the family ranch. Pitifully dirty

The scene of the wedding. Absolutely gorgeous...

Heading home

Last fill up in Vegas before making the final leg home

Again, thanks for looking

Very cool. I considered driving to Vancouver from Toronto this summer as a fun road trip cross-country (~4500km, ~2800mi) but decided against it lol.

Hope you put on a clearbra before the trip.

lol the whole car is vinyl wrapped, so if you can consider that a bra, then yeah I did.

My wife and I drove my 07 e92 from Fort Hood TX to Orlando FL. Then to Otto NC, and back to FT Hood. OMG! It was longggggggg. But these cars are perfect for it.
All together it was about 3600 miles

Nice!! For us car guys long trips easily turn into BMW road trips. Who needs planes anyways?? I'm due for one myself. Anywho congrats on your wedding trip, in a way after spending that much time in a car, you kind of marry the car too.

I've driven to Toronto from Vancouver last year and its boring to tell you the truth not worth it all you see it different colour fields for 3 days and 1 day from Vancouver to Alberta is ok.

Hahahaha I love how even on a car forum people still manage to criticize fashion. That's not me though, that's my friend. I'm the one driving in the selfy and the one taking all the other pictures, so he ended up being the apparent owner lol
