Apparently none of the m3's...
It appears that none of the m3\'s for sale have been \"mistreated\"..never seen rain, never eaten in, never seen snow, never been on an accident.
Fishy??? Who knows..

EVERY M3 has been revved high at some point, even if only a few times.... ...and MOST M3's have seen rain (.intentionally or not). I would even wager that MOST M3's have been eaten in as well. It's really easy to tell when/if someone regularly eats food in their car. |

It is a car folks, not a museum piece. Drive it, enjoy it. If you have sex in it, don't tell us about it. You are not going to get more for at in the end because it was never rained on, no birds pooped on it or it was never taken to the redline. In fact you are not doing yourself any favours by babying it. It is meant to be driven, the engine is meant to go to 8300 RPM. Wash it, wax it and clean the inside - that too is part of the joy of ownership. |

These cars are not exotics nor track day specials and were made with being a DD in mind. Most cars these days are made to be DD. I drive mine and enjoy it as much as possible.

If you don't like the descriptions or don't trust it, buy new. Forum members are really careful about their M3s. There's a thread about OCD.

Never seen rain? Wow.. I'm anal with my car, I can imagine M3 owners, but rain? Jesus, it's not a '37 Bugatti 57S. However, if I had a garage and could avoid it I see your point.

I also avoid intentionally driving the M3 in the rain and never in snow (not so much the snow but the salt associated with it).
One of the rare exceptions: But as far as driving it, this car have been driven very hard since the day it left the assembly line. The car is coming up on 20k miles now and since the 15k service, I have not had to add any oil. A testament to the "hard break in" method. |
