How do I fit these wheels on the e90 335i?

Hello all. I've seen these wheels on the e90 and also yesterday saw them on a e46 but I've been told you cant. What adjustments shoulder there be on an e90 335i for these wheels to fit? Sorry I don't have the specs for the wheels.

The offsets are too agressive for non-M3 with stock M3 tires. You could probably get away with some stretched rubber and or smaller profile.

wheels will fit fine. you just need new smaller tires instead of the M3 tire sizes.

Specs are 18x8.5 et29 and 18x9.5 et23. If your car is pre-lci E90, 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear will work fine, might need slight fender roll.

If the car is E90 Lci, then i would recommend 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. Lci would also need fender roll and maybe some other adjustments.

MonacoBlue is correct. You will need to reduce the tire size to fit the rims with no issues, with the following caveat. If you have plus sizes (235/265), they will rub in the back depending upon tire brand and shape of tire. I had Hankook V12s at that size with very little problem, save the occasional rub on big dips and tight corners with people in the rear. Michelins are meatier tires than Hankooks, so I went to OEM specs in order to avoid any fender bending or other courses of action on my sport suspension.

I have Michelin Pilot Super Sports with the following:

Front: 18x8.5 +29 with 225/40 PSS
Rear: 18x9.5 +23 with 255/35 PSS

As you can see, there is no stretch with the 225/40 because they will fit 8.5 inch wheels.

Varsstoen ES2, 18x9.5 et22 (225/40/18) front and 18x10.5 et15 (255/35/18) rear.

Thanks!

This was my inspiration, from an old thread, but he lived in Cali, too, and since moved onto f10 535i:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=520950

Too many times, people forget to put the correct tire sizes for non-M 3-series, and then wonder why they keep rubbing. Eventually, they swap out the wheels thinking they don't fit because of the aggressive offset. Pre-lci e90s will allow the offset with some mods if plus size tires are mounted.

Yours will look the same as mine, once you mount the OEM spec tires (225/255), with the added benefit of no rubbing in the rear.

OBTW, I have -2.1 camber in the rear, which is within specs, so I didn't need to roll the fenders.

G/L and post up your pics when you finish!

What about and e92 335i, pre-LCI? Would those Michelin Pilot SS at 255/35R28 and 225/40R18 fit? I have these wheels, and I'm getting so much rubbing, but the deal on teh wheels was hard to pass.

great advice from flip, I have installed OEM M3 wheels on many non M cars but I had to either roll or in some extreme cases cut/trim inner metal fender and that fixed it right up.

I have a E90 2010 335i with M219 225/40 up front and 255/35 in the rear lowered on swift springs and I'm rubbing like crazy in the rear. Any suggestions?
