You know how to log onto a forum and make 500+ posts. You should be able to figure out how to check your tire pressures on a regular basis jk
Aaaanyhow, nitrogen fills usually come with green valve caps or stickers. |

Are your tires inflated? If the answer is "Yes" then you have just under 80% nitrogen in your tires, since that is the amount of nitrogen in the regular air you breathe every day. The nitrogen in tires, particularly when we pay for it, is basically a scam. Fuel economy benefits are likely to be non-existent in the real world.

Notwithstanding that it is not needed, if you have nitro in your tires, the valve caps should be green, if whoever might have put it in, followed the convention.

I noticed the $399 charge for nitrogen on my sales order. if you're going to charge me ridiculous money, I immediately requested tinting instead. the car still came with Nitrogen in the tires (now for free)

How do we know they're even replacing air with N2 (composition arguments aside)? These cars are coming off the boat with just regular air.. are they really pulling the valve stems on all of these tires and reinflating them with the magic green gas?

My dealer (Endras) wanted to charge me $80 for Nitrogen as a dealer option. I refused and told them to keep their Nitrogen. Car still was delivered with Nitrogen though they waived the charge.
Nitrogen in commercial aircraft tires makes sense. Nitrogen in car tires is a gimmick / scam.

Nothing on BMW Toronto / Parkview, who add a $399 "ride green" fee to every new car. As I've said before, it's clearly intended to mislead buyers into thinking it's some kind of government program / environmental levy. This must be the single highest margin product they sell. No-one ever buys the extended warranty scams at Futureshop or Best Buy; why do we fall for this stuff so easily when buying much more expensive and equally useless add-ons at dealerships?
