Engine coolant
So I'm in a tight situation where my work schedule doesn't allow me to buy BMW coolant directly or schedule an appointment. But my car needs coolant BAD. I did some research and people say they use this: PEAK OET Antifreeze and Coolant European Vehicles Blue CONCENTRATE *5 Year/150K Mile Protection* 1 Gallon
Does anyone recommend it or a better option? I'm not trying to kill my car |

I appreciate that, but I'm looking for something to hold me over until I can get some official BMW coolant. My car desperately needs it |

This stuff is what I use on my car (assuming you are running the blue coolant).
https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c...50?q=G48&pos=1 It's 50/50 premixed and on the BMW approved list of 3rd-party coolants. You don't need OEM coolant, just one that meets BMW's spec. The one above should be stocked in most auto parts stores (O'Reilly, AutoZone, WalMart, etc.)

Peak Blue is fine. I do keep 2 gallons of BMW coolant on the shelf. When I need it I'll have it. Mix with distilled water and I've got 4 gallons to use. Seriously, the Peak blue stuff is fine. You won't hurt anything.
