X5 rims on e91
Hy guys,
I have a problem with putting an x' wheels on e91. I have a 2007 wagon which is going to sit down on coilovers. So my problem is the specs of the spacers. My set will be 19x10 et45 all around. 225/35 front 245 or 255/30 rear. I am not afraid of poke or fender rolling but it would be good to avoid it at the front. So what specs of spacers i should get in your opinion? |

10" wide in the front with 45 offset? i have a feeling the wheels are going to hit the struts in the front.... i dont even think its safe to stretch the front 225 tires that much onto 10" wheels. not sure about what spacer size you will need to clear the struts but i just put the specs into the calculator in this thread and its saying you'll have 36mm less clearance towards the strut compared to stock 19" setup... sorry to say but i dont think you can fit those in the front without having your wheels stick out a lot or converting your car into a wide body.

I'm not new for stance culture and I will do it anyway. Recently have bought an e91 because of that I don't know the possible Et's for that car.
I have seen 2 members with e90 which has 10J in a front and many others with 9,5J in a front so thank you for your useless answers. I am going to have ET around 20. It should do the job. So I'm still waiting for normal answers from the people that really knows. Peace! |

This might help. E91 with 19x9.5 in the front and rear.

I still don't believe that the struts will be a problem.
If the 9.5J et 30 fits just perfect I minus 13mm (because 10j is 13mm wider) from the 10J et (as total minus 28mm from 45) leaving the wheel 19x10J et 17 and it sits exactly the same from the inside as the 9.5J did. Just tell me if I'm wrong I'm not getting upset just trying to solve the problem because I don't want to spend my money guessing the spacer measurements. P.S. Sorry if my language is not easy to understand. Doing my best in english. |

You're wrong. A 19 x 10 wheel with a final offset of 17 (your claim, not mine--I have no idea where you got this number) will have 7mm more clearance on the strut side but stick out 19mm additional than a 9.5 et 30 wheel. If you look at those pictures of the 9.5 et 30 wheels and think you have 19mm more to give, then go ahead. You seem to know everything anyway, so go for it...

Your best shot is a 15mm spacer on that wheel which would give you 6mm less clearance on the strut side and stick out an additional 6mm. But you are going to need a very stretched tyre to make that work inside and outside. The way the rear struts are, it would come down to the tyre. You're going to need to stretch the tires, roll the fenders and hope it works.

And why do you think that 10J rim will stick out 19mm compering to 9.5J? |

Sorry, I meant to say rear suspension arms. It gets tight back there and can come down to tyre width and shape (rounded shoulder vs. squared off).
You typed the specs as 19 x 10 et 17 for the final fitment. This fitment would sit OUT 19mm farther than a 19 x 9.5 et 30. The pictures in the link here show that et 30 fitment and there is no way (you can tell by looking) you would have 19mm more to give on the outside. That is almost a full inch. There is an offset calculator right at the top of this page if you don't trust my numbers. I think maybe you are confused as to how offset is determined. |

Thank you. This is the help I was looking for.
All I need to know now is the free space inside which can be reveled by the blue wagon's owner but the problem is that I can't find the pm button on his page. EDIT: Finally I have found the answer. So if anyone will need this info I will leave t to rest here. 19x10 22. 225/35 this is my chosen numbers of perfection. I'd go with 18mm spacers in the front, making it ET27, that's will have the same strut fitment as 19x9.5 ET33. I've seen 19x9.5 ET33 on several e9x on here.
