My AW e92 with Volk Racing TE37 Time Attacks
Dropped on KW v1's. Folks, these rims are unforgiving on my 335i. I do not recommend if you're going with an aggressive drop. I like it low so these are a no go for me because i'd have to raise it so it wouldnt rub.
Thanks to the guys at Creative for putting up with my sh!t. Great shop! Got the suspension from James, Del and the gang did the install, and Evan offered me some beer. I thought I'd snap some photos before i take them off and sell them. Enjoy. Sorry for the crap quality, was with a point and shoot and no tripod. Had to sit it on the curb. Car needs a wash too. SO WHAT! BTW.. the for sale thread is here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38666

I am not feeling it. Totally changed the look of the car. The lines on the coupe is to subtle for such aggressive style wheels on a AW car. Gunmetal with a polished lip will look great but black with a red lip on AW is

Big mistake. The e92 has about 5mm less room on each side i believe. After rolling, cutting, minor flaring, and -2 camber it rubs with spirited driving at my desired ride height. Can't make my suspension any stiffer since i have the v1's, but i like the ride already. The KW's are very comfortable and a huge improvement over stock/sports suspension. Quote:

To bad it was the wrong offset. That is my favorite style for that wheel with the spokes going in towards the cnter. What was the specs of this set?

Not feeling the red on the rims. All black would've been better in my opinion. As long as you are happy that's what matters the most.

IMO Volks don't look good on Euros, but I love the stance of your car! Slammed look looks good!
How much harsher would you say the v1 is compared to stock/sports suspension? I'm looking to slam the car the first week I get it, lol. Say no to finger gaps I've seen both the te37s and le28s time attacks on black, white, and red M3's before and they looked OK at best. To the guy asking, these were the limited edition "time attack'' series and they are already discontinued. They were in production only for several months. And that concave look of the wheels is called the GTR face. |

i guess i was always a polished lip fan myself. Time attacks are coming into trend and they're scaring me lol. They look good on mostly black cars i think.

after reading that you got the wrong offsets... i feel that the rears are slightly sticking out of the wheel well... bummer
regardless, it's still sexy. that setup... it's face-1 front, face-2 rears, correct? |
