Wow, that's terrible.

I'm guessing two things here:

1. No alarm?

2. Parked in a pretty vulnerable area, as this looks like it took some time and would have made some noise?

The xenons are very expensive and a popular target unfortunately. I know back in the day Maximas were exceptionally vulnerable to xenon theft since the lights would literally pop right out in 20 seconds with a screwdriver.

Regardless, sorry for your loss here, and hopefully insurance made everything right for you. Chances are they'll never catch the guys who did this, and it's a good possibility that they're pros as they were clearly after specific items for resale IMHO.

not the first time this has happened to us, couple years back they stole the wheels of my sisters e92 328, and before that they broke into her mustang, now this.. i have a brand new modded m sport f30 sitting outside...

I got a bmw thinking i wasn't gonna have import problems. Well I guessed wrong. Sorry for your loss but thank u for sharing at least other will be aware and can do some preventive work. It's they want to take my stuff I'm gonna make it really hard and painful.

i remember seeing this on bimmerforums. hasnt the car also been sideswiped or something like that.

Damn, doesn't the parts on our cars come with specific numbers to identify if it was originally installed on a certain vehicle? Or are 3 series' so mass produced it's all just going down the line
