Hi,

Understand that European version of Android Connected Drive App has tie ins with several more apps than our lame US version.

Was wondering if any of our European members can provide a copy of this app or, at least point me to where I can get a copy.

I cant even get m5 galaxy s5 to be recognized by the usb cable

Yup, I have an APK loader so all I need is the European Connected Drive Android App!

Have you Bluetooth paired your S5 with the Car? For now, that is about the 80%+ solution. I have found that the Car sporadically recognizes items (either my S4 or my old iPod)connected either from the USB port (in the center console -- I only have that one since I have Tech package) or the media snap-in adaptor; what I have found is that it often takes a couple of connection attempts

Now for our European members, would appreciate any assistance in getting the European version of Android Connected Drive App

i believe you also need NBT (which it seems like you have) for the Connected Drive app to work

First off, thank you very much!!

It looks exactly like the one we have in US, except that the parenthetical version dientification has EU rather than US. The thread leads you to believe that the European Android version add the Apps that the iPhone currently has and the Android version does not -- like Glympse, Pandora and couple of others

Can anyone give me advice here.I know almost nothing about computers or cell phones so...I have a Samsung S3 (US version-Verizon).Can downloading a European app harm anything or void my Verizon contract?

First off, I recommend that you download and use the US version of Connected Drive as the version above is, in essence identical.

As to your question, I have an S4 with T-Mobile and have downloaded and used apps from Europe and have not had any problems with the phone -- that is not to say that you shouldn't be careful and have some kind of anti-virus app.
