If the diffuser is already Flat Black, leave it. Or, like canucklion said, get a CF one. |

+1, bmw actually painted my diffuser aw on accident at zpc. i didn't like it at all and prefer the natural finish (like a really dark grey/black) which they swapped for me. cf looks best imo..

paint it flat/matte black like OEM. If you paint it the same color as your car, it loses the contrast. IMO, you need the contrast in color for the kit to show off its aggressiveness. Otherwise, it just blends into the body. That's my opinion of course, it's your car, do what you think looks best for you.

^^^^ hahah...I actually, have been thinking about painting my diffuser. I like the two tone look...but the stock color is looking a little grey to me. I want it darker basically more carbon or black in the paint color.
here is the current set up. I want it to remain flat color...but more black. I still want a contrast (and not the same as my body color). Not doing anything right now....but I can see reason to "modify" the color.

i agree, the stock piece looks more dark grey than black.
i say go for matte black. imho this will provide good contrast with sg.

I like how mine is charcoal OEM is best IMO, unless it's CF, but i'd only get CF if the rest of my car was CF such as the side mirrors, interior trim, spoiler, hood, etc.. all or nothing

Hi,
I have a sparkling graphite 335 but have scratched the rear diffuser and am struggling to find out what the colour is. There doesn't seem to be a code for it and it's obviously different to SG with it being matte. Any help appreciated. |
