Week 11/12 builds

Hey guys- after a 3 week wait due to an individual order I final got a confirmed build week- week 12. Super pumped to see it when it does arrive-
My Build:
Individual Ferrari Red exterior
Full Merino with deviated contrast stitching in red (SO)
Comp Pack
Executive Pack
Driver Assit Plus
DCT
Carbon Ceramics
MPerformace Exhaust with Carbon Tips
Carbon Spoiler

Anyone else a week 11/12 build??? Can't wait to see this car

no individual, i am doing ED, wanted may 14th that's why
it's already been 5 weeks since i got my production number

And AWSOME color choice BTW, i would have loved red but couldn't get myself to cough up 5K despite the wife's encouragement. So i went with the closest option, SO lol. Looking forward to your pictures.

I was told a week 9 for mine, but not sure.. Read somewhere that the week build is usually when the car finishes production. That doesn't seem to be the case. I have a production number, but status has remained the same. Does it show your week on your paperwork?

April 20 ED.

About 6 weeks longer then I expected. Ordered Jan 19th, production number that night. Damn wife's work to blame for the delay. Eh' what are you gonna do.

I have never waited so much as a week for a car.

This is not easy.

Have you guys had luck with the BMW genius? When I call it says something like "your order has been documented with no confirmed build week". So I'm under the impression that it's gonna be a long wait for me. Once I see it go into production the anxiety will ease a bit

My ED date is 4/29. I'm still waiting to go 112 status for a confirmed build week. Genius says I'm at 111 with an estimated build date of 4/17.

Thanks for starting this.
I was told I'm week 11 by my CA. Called Genius and was told it's scheduled to start production between March 9-11. So can't be sure what that's really called. He said could finish early or start early and or could go 7-10 days. Go figure.
My build is a little boring compared to some- no Ferrari Red (I'm too chicken). Haha. Maybe my next one.

Go back and forth on the exterior color MG or interior SO with MW or MG but holding firm at the moment.

I was called by dealer yesterday and told now is time to make any last minute changes as status changed to 112. Production scheduled and soon to go to status 150. Called Genius and told it will start about March 6-7th now!

Congrats dude, I called Genius earlier today as well and they told me mine would start next week on March 4th. He was also like "whoa you got the competition package? This is the first build I've seen with this option. Congrats to you on your new M4!" I told him thanks, it was good to know I'm one of the very first he's seen. Can't wait to see what next week is gonna be like. Still thinking of adding back on the CCB. don't know what to do? Any advice guys???

My advice ( have them on my current dakar f80 and the wife is getting them on her new f80) - the CCB's are amazing, really good stopping power and a lot less brake dust. They squeal (but no where near as bad as track pads). Disadvantage of them is solved with he 20 inch Comp pack rims. Especially out in Cali- get them.

Initially I had a WK12 build...but after I recently added Comp Pack, it got pushed out to WK17 lol.

With the 20" wheels, they'd be hard to clean w/o the carbon/ceramic brakes. I'd get them if I could afford them.

I did try to add them back on but my car started production on the 29th of February. It's alright I have a pressure washer that makes this part of cleaning the car easy

Used my SunJoy pressure washer and foaming wand last night. I practiced on my son's car before my M3 comes in. haha. Don't want to ruin my car.

Rims were easy once they soaked for a little. Used soft mitt with a rinse bucket to remove soil from mitt between washing each panel then moved to rims last.

Maybe a little too much suds.
