finally got the air lift performance installed. 9.5 on front will not clear the strut though.. Does stock suspension clear it?
Now im forced to go 18x9.5 + 24 ( with spacers) to clear the strut.. Fender might be the issue .. 225/45/18 tire size. -1 camber. What do you guys think? Work, not work?

What size wheels(width and offset) and tires are you running now? How many degrees of camber are you at? What's hitting where to not clear strut? You can get a way with a wider wheel, it all depends on your gauge of how aggressive you'd like to be and how much camber you're willing to run. Back in my E46M, I was at -5 front and -8 rear to fit my wheels. |

I have 225/45/18. 18x9.5 +34 -1 camber. Its hitting the strut locking collar but the collar is flush with the strut. Im willing to do -2 camber but not sure about anything more aggressive with expensive tires...

Is the tire hitting the strut or the wheel? Is it at certain heights it's happening and still drive able but unable to air out properly? Depending on how severe, you could just run a small spacer. Going from an offset of +34 to +25 might be overkill as its 9mm of clearance on the inside of your wheel-well. |

Inner lip of the rim is hitting the strut locking collar.
It happens when the rims are mounted. If it touches when mounted then it will be keep touching at any heights.

Im loving this air suspension and you should wait for it! How much more poke do i get from 225/45/18 on 18x9.5 +24 compared to 225/45/18 on 18x8 +34 ? Couple millimeters?

I contacted Accuair and they transferred me over to an Air Ride seller. from there we talked about different options, I went with the Accuair E-Level management and AirDynamiks Struts that had to be made for me. Received the management but still waiting on my struts but once they come in pretty soon I will deff post up everything! |
