Bmw 320i n13 engine turbo whistle
Hi, guys ! Got my 320i 1.6 170hp about couple weeks back and after driving it for a little while i noticed a slight whistle from the turbo in the 1.5 to 2000 rpm region at around 30 mph, the car has got 90k miles on the clock ! Would you say this is a normal sound or turbo is on its way out ! Also if there are any n13 owners a heads up will be really appreciated ! Thank you !

Wtf is an N13???? I've never heard of it. Is it new?
Edit: I know see that you have 90k miles, so it's probably not new lol.

Greetings Di3go, I've owned an F30 N13 (170HP) for a year now, and the load ass turbo whistle is very very normal. I actually thought that my car was broken when I initially bought it, but, after doing some Googlin', I saw that it was fine. I actually like the sound. Makes the car sound more powerful than it already is, LoL! Also, If you're looking to increase the power a bit. I really would recommend buying a Racechip Ultimate unit. You simply connect 3 cables in the engine bay, and that's it. The torque is improved a lot, and the car seems more faster, although I really should get it Dyno tested.
