Great news. I love the user selectable torque feature, especially when you put on more mod's that increase torque as well ( intercooler, downpipes ).
Some time ago you mentioned that a optional a dedicated o2 sensor can used. I hope this option will be released later. According to the picture we will get a little white or grey box as well with the harness. My guess is that there will be a relay inside for the switched power support. So after a long period of waiting time you released again a great bundle of features. I am pretty sure that the competition will not be able to catch up short- or mid-term. Thank you, congratulations and all the best, Eugen Last edited by e.n335; 08-23-2007 at 06:37 AM.. |

- relay - box - connectors - wires - assembling and shipping labor - some extra connectors for further options - shipping fee My guess is $100 - $150. A fair price for what you will get. If it will cost like that you won't buy it ? I don't believe so ... |

^ Why should Shiv not be paid for his efforts ? IMHO he will not charge for R&D. We all are paid for our work ...
BTW it depends on his marketing. When he keeps V1 as the standard and sells V2 as an option, he could sell V2 for $300 or $400 as well My 2 cents. Cheers Eugen |

Don't you have a Visa or MC check card (the $$ comes directly from your checking acct.)?

I hope you are not asking me? I merely put the the info up that has been asked and answered several times already.
But if you are asking me what his reasons might be, I can speculate that he can ask higher price for the V1 than what the competition is asking and even more importantly I think that his sales of V1 is high (partly) because of the V2 upgrade is free. But this is just speculation. You really need to ask him for the reasons. I don't know though, if his business practises should be within the forum discussion. |

Let's not speculate about extra cost right now; Shiv will determine what's a fair price for the v2.0 upgrade. With that said, I remember Shiv saying something around a $100 or so. Remember, the PROcede s/w updates are always free.

Transmitter buttons on the rearview mirror has been discussed. I might want a map switch function for several reasons. If I'm gonna take my car in to get oil changed I might want it on the stock map. If I'm gonna have my wife drive the car I might want it on the stock map. The only problem I see with switching maps frequently is the "adaptation" time of the car's ECU may result in underperformance for a while after a switch. You could even use the map switch feature to change between a max HP/torque map for the once in a while high speed adventure, but then switch to a lower HP/torque map for day to day driving (to preserve tranny life ).

I can't wait to dyno this and add it to the other list of dynos.
I will assure the community that dynos will be performed and added to all of the others.--That's why I need to be one of the first to get one when they're ready.

Hey with the effort you made doing all those other dyno's I personally think you deserve to be the first one. Probably won't happen, but ya never know.
