I was looking at the DIY video (going back and forth between tunes, can't decide on one yet) and thought, wait what? It's nice to have that sort of customer service though, I have heard nothing but great things about Terry. It's also convenient he's so close to you lol

Glad you got it sorted out, now enjoy!
Maybe I got lucky. But the first time I installed my JB4 it took 15mins total, there was no wait time. As soon as I got the jumper wires and jb4 power hooked up I ran around and started the car, then proceeded to button up the ecu box, cowling, etc.

Yeah, when I first did it the harness was just slllllllightly unplugged, and the car went haywire. I freaked. Double-checked and bam it was fine. Very good feeling.

I have to agree Terry IS the man. Over all I am extremely happy with the product AND the customer surves! I hope terry see this, I come from Evo world and forums, so I am assuming he is on here somewhere right? well I hope he likes the review hahah even though it involves a scare! haha PS; I am happy to report that the car seems to drive smoother and smoother everyday (map 1) I always have to restrain myself from just dropping my foot on the gas at every chanceeeeee |

I think what sets Terry apart from the rest is his customer service. It doesn't matter if you're on the other side of the world he provides excellent customer service and will always answer you questions (no matter how stupid). Also he prices his products very competitively too. You should give map 5 a run when you get a chance |

I'll try it out see how it feels. Doesn’t it hit 16 psi whenever possible and scale down as the conditions and octane are more unfavorable? |

Map 5 is ideal for any car, any conditions etc. Give it a run but make sure you put some km's on it and let it adapt as I believe it resets each time you select it again. It seems a lot better than the early day versions of map 5.

^ Don't think so. Map 0 basically shuts the jb4 off. Map 5 is the auto tuning map.

Ps, Ill email Terry about map 5, that would be interesting to know if map 5 resets its learning everytime you deselect it. It would be cool if it saved all the information. Anyone else having similar experiences? Last edited by ChristianReyess; 07-27-2012 at 11:28 AM.. |

Does map 5 reset its "learning" every time you de select it and use another map? And what gas mileage could I be expecting from map 8? I'm hitting about 17 mpg around. Town and I believe my mpg was a little better on stock... And I'm assuming map 4 gets the same a stock in terms of mpg? Thanks in advance for your time and response! He responded; Yes map 5 resets when selected. Map 8 normally 1-2mpg higher around town. Map 4 is like stock. Best, T |

Are they checking for o2 codes? You could leave it on map4 of buy an o2 sim fix.
