Subwoofer
So anyone know the largest amp to apply to a sub in an f22? Maybe max watts and if a capacitor is required. What is the safest to to run?
Thanx in advance |

Are you talking about the stock under-seat subwoofers?
Are you adding aftermarket subs in a dedicated trunk enclosure? Basically the same answer either way for the capacitor... No, you don't need a cap. |

Sorry. No adding a full sub/ amp and a box in trunk. I have a self powered one but its only 600 watts. I was looking at a 12” and probably a 1200 or a little higher amp.
Will the alternator or factory battery have any issue? Thanx guys |

This is my setup. I went with 2 Sundown 10's wired at 2 ohms in a sealed enclosure powered by a 2000-watt Sundown amp. I've had this setup for probably 2 years and have experienced no problems at all with the stock electrical or alternator. My car still has the original battery and it's a 2017. |
