Because your Procede has 6AT maps on atm.
Updates firmware/maps to 6MT 2-14 DIC... 11-25 are really old!

well when i emailed to Robert he said: "You have the latest software for the v5 with the 1-12 update on it. Yes you can update the firmware and maps by yourself from the website below. You don't need to update anything in the mean time. Please just install the Procede you currently have and don't do anything to it. Please just install it and make sure the car is running fine first. When you place an order please comment and make a note saying that you have a 6MT. so that was email from vishnu

i have 6MT not 6AT wonder why its written otherwise, is it some kind a mistake?

when i ordered i wrote that i have 6MT.......

about update vishnu team told me not update to any new maps they want to know do my v5 work without any issues with maps that are loaded

also got this in a package, so my question now what should i DO? cos in a email its sais otherwise, do i need to update to new maps or what? 2-14 or 12-17?

Relax, i was laughing at autobahn's comment. I had a v4 and got rid of it.

I'm pretty sure its ok if it says 6AT because that will work on a 6MT car. If you had a AT and you received a Procede with "6MT" on it, then you would have a issue. If i remember correctly, my Procede had "6AT" written on it also, even though i have a 6MT.

Hopefully someone can confirm this.

well strange if firmware is updated why should i do it double? as my unit was sent on 2011 01 12.... maps should be 1-12.....in a unit

maybe its stupid but i care

if i was told that my unit is updated why should i double update, i install and go....later i can update to new maps as even at the moment there is no newest non BETA maps

ok than use those maps and good luck .... there is nothing you can do but make sure you will be running the right maps for your car and the only way to do that is to upload them YOURSELF

Since you don't have cruise control leave it as it is. To change maps/firmware you would need the cc command center features to reset adaptations. Also the 6AT maps work perfectly on 6MT (but not vice versa) as stated. Just leave it as it is, plug it in and report back. BTW I personally felt the 17/21-1 maps were more brutal than the 14-2 dic maps.
Again don't do anything regarding updates yet and since your unit is tested by Robert just plug it in and enjoy.
You 'll be fine, relax.

Edit: Ooops, I just saw 25-11 but then again it says v5. Anyway just plug it and check with your serial-usb cable which firmware version you have. Again don't change anything until the steering wheel buttons are implemented.
