Who has a saltwater aquarium?

Just curious as you all obviously know one of my hobbies/interests is BMWs and tuning them, but I also love fishies LOL Just wondering who else on here has that passion.

I've been in the aquarium/fish hobby for over 20 years. Currently, I have a 75G reef setup with 2x250W MH. A 90 G fish-only setup and a 40G Tall for a seahorse tank.

Have you done any research into the LED lights? Was thinking about switching over to them to replace the MH.

There is an interesting article on ReefCentral about LEDs, and their lack of spectrum. Great for LPS and softies but a lot of people are struggling with SPS under LED. I was toying with switching as well but will keep my MH for now

I enjoy watching fish also, but I hate the headaches of having to clean an aquarium...thus, I watch the aquarium channel.

That's my fear too with the LEDs, as i have mostly SPS in my reef tank.

What other forums are good for the Reef/salt water hobby besides ReefCentral? That's probably the only forum I am consistently participate in now.
I used to be fairly active in the local ones like MOPS and AquariumPros(AJ's site), but haven't been on there for 3-4 years now.

Just sold my 90g reef setup for a steal complete custom cabinet / sump / etc. I miss it a lot, but had no choice and had to let it go asap. Fire sale.

Ya those are the ones I go on as well. aquarium pros is pretty dead now. I use to go on it a lot but there is nothing interesting on there anymore. Pretty much stick to ReefCentral.

I'm a reefer, too. But I'm moving and just tore down.

Had a 65g long with centre overflow and sump... Actually selling the tank, cabinet, sump, tek light t5ho, eheim pump, and live rock if anyone is interested.
