No, Friday 18th, taken me a while to get round to posting the pics. Only managed to do 150 miles so far. The car (as I am sure you will agree) is bloody amazing!

Since yours also came from Park Lane I just wondered if it was the other one in the truck when mine was delivered, which was another SG M Sport coupe which happened to be going to Surrey as well

I've done about 300 miles now and I'm loving it, the wheels are a pain to clean though but I expect you already found that out

Neither of those is mine. Mine starts with LC08...

SG is a popular colour by the looks of it :-)

The delivery driver was a nice bloke called Darren - he had just been to Crawley at about 12:30 on Friday 18 April and came to Guildford straight after. He could not get his 65ft long car transporter up my road so I met him at 14:00 outside Vines BMW in Guildford 'cos he knew where that was :-)

Looks like your van had canvas sides whereas mine had solid sides.

LOL I wish :-)

I used a Canon 40D with a EF-S 17-85mm IS USM lens. Because the sky was so overcast I used my tripod to get the sharp pictures.

There was a small about of processing done in Adobe Lightroom to crop the images to frame them better and sort out the white balance a bit (very cloudy sky seems to have a slight blue tint).

I must have been at the aircraft museum for an hour or so, so I have had to throw away a lot of shots :-)

Other than that, lots and lots of practice!

Yes that seems to be their current prefix. A colleague has has GJG which was delivered yesterday.

Hi Viv, not sure about Jon but I will be on the 08:30 flight to JFK on Saturday so I will wave when I fly past. Maybe UK6 can be my new car debut. I have been really busy recently so you may want to PM me when a UK6 date is decided :-)

Work in Farnborough, drive past the Farnborough Air Science Museum most days. It was the most interesting place I thought of when thinking about photo locations.

Whilst I was there I remembered about the strange metal archway thing in the business park next door so popped over there for a picture. Got followed by a 90 year old security guard with a huge cigar in a clapped out Peugeot who asked me what I was up to.

New car + SLR camera + tripod = must be up to no good!
