bootmod3: N55-PWG CustomROM release - MapSwitch, FlexFuel, AntiLag

Hey gang,
We've just released our CustomROM features for the N55-PWG vehicles. Map Switching via steering wheel, Flex Fuel integration, Anti Lag, In-Dash Ethanol Content checking, Live Adjust without re-flashing for burble, ethanol content override, and much more via custom tuning in the integrated BM3 Map Editor.

We have also made 3 new OTS MultiMaps available including Stage 1, 2 as well as a 2H each with 4 slots preset and flex fuel functionality built in.

Enjoy!

Wooo finally! Couple initial questions:

Is there a way to adjust which map is in which slot? For example if I want slot 2 to be a stage one map as opposed to stage 2 91.

Can the antilag be activated when stationary, if so how?

What is max boost limiter? Do I need to activate that to prevent overboosting? I should think not but just checking as I haven't seen it before.

No

Yes, same as rolling

It's It's max boost limiter. You can limit max boost.. has nothing to do with overboost. If the map says it's gonna run 14psi you can limit to whatever you want. 8psi, sure.. 9psi, yup.. etc

Gotcha, thanks for the info. So if the target is 15 or whatever, the car will target 15 and do it's thing. But if for some reason I want to limit it to 10 I can set that. I get it but why would I want to do that? I guess to prevent wheel spin but just run stage 1 at that point no? I don't really see a point if you can't do it by gear/speed

Also, in a 6MT car, how would the anti lag be used when stationary to launch. Clutch in, first gear, activate anti lag, and then time the release of the clutch with the release of the button?

Just flashed it, havent gone for a drive yet. I left the running and went to live adjust to set burbles but i only see options overide and aggressive. Is there no way to adjust it like before where it showed duration, aggressiveness, min/max rpm as well as different settings for sport mode?

You have to adjust burbles per map slot. It's still there. You don't do it through live adjust.

Since it now supports flex fuel, so I need to swap anything else out in the car besides high pressure fuel pump if I want run full e85? My friend said I don't need to change injectors or anything and just need hpfp for full e85 on my n55 pwg

If you still run the stock turbo you should be able to with a stage 2 hpfp.. however you should do the lpfp too, though people have mixed results doing that.

Also.. you will need a custom flex fuel tune to do it properly since there sre no full e85 maps available from bootmod3 ots.

Why would he need a custom map, is the PWG flex different from EWG? John and others went up to full E85 on the OTS flex fuel MM on EWG, even though there is technically no E85 OTS map. It just uses the sensor for anything above the OTS E%.

The multimap doesn't include an e30 map right now.. just pump gas...

Gotcha. Can't confirm since i dont use BM3 but isnt the intent of FF to be able to blend any amount of E% even if the "starting map" is a pump gas map? I thought John and others had tested by adding E and starting with the OTS 93 map and the tune would adjust. Would need to go read that thread again. In this way, it didnt matter if you were on the 93 map or the E30 map (latter doesnt exist in this case), if you were running say E60, the actual tune adjusted for flex fuel would be the same.

Even if it did it would only go to max of the e30 map.. so it would be a waste

Oh ok, thanks for the input. I was under the impression that multimap could handle full e85 if i chose to. Did not know it was limited to e30 at most no matter the ratio. Thank you!

It doesn’t need to include an E30 map now because you got flex fuel right inside these OTS. So whatever you fill up with it just goes up and down from there based on flex fuel sensor whatever its reporting.

Okay, even still. Max benefit is e30 since.there is no e85 map.
