understand that having aftermarket wheels/tires will not void your "warranty" unless it screws something up with the braking system and/or steering. in the event of such a situation, BMW, under law, MUST prove that aftermarket wheels/tires were the sole cause of the problem, otherwise they cannot legally null your warranty.

You are in Canada and you have sensors in the wheels? From the factory? Are you sure?
All Canadian vehicles that have TPMS use the indirect method, where the rolling diameter is what triggers an alert - your wheels won't have sensors built in unless you added them. |

happened to my 325d e90 too!
thank you!! this happened to my manufactured 2006 month 9 bmw 325 e90 after changing winter tyres... AND
first BMW did the calibration thing wrong (like in your case) then BMW programmer did it different way and no error codes anymore!!! still costs 80€ !!!!! wtf!!!! simply push the calibrate button costs this much!!!! will look a device that i can do the calibration myself... |

Run flat tires replaced with Non Run Flat, now new error codes pop up

Does that mean if you buy a new set of tires that have measurements different in any way from the stock tires, you're going to have problems? I'm thinking of replacing my stock 16 inch wheels (2009 328i) with 18 inch OEM wheels. Will I have any issues? Will the computer on the car raise red flags and act up?
