Widest tires on '07 328i with type 161 wheels
Hey guys,
I have a 2007 328i with sports suspension. I have type 161 wheels, which have the specs: (Front: 17x8 ET34 225/45 R17) (Rear: 17x8.5 ET37 255/40 R17) Now for my question, what size tires can go on the OEM wheels? Can the rears go bigger than 255? Also, I'm not looking to roll my fenders. Side note: What tires would you recommend for maximum comfort/handling on a 328i? Eye candy for reference, shes still mostly stock so go easy on me Last edited by speedco; 02-10-2013 at 01:51 PM.. |

Ahhh, I have a couple tires to ask about as well!
On the tire rack I found PS2s, Super Sports, and Hankook V12s Are any of those in particular better than the other? |

You plan on RFTs? I'm ditching my Potenzas for all-season Falken ZE-912, great timing too since I might be moving to Washington by the end of this year. To my knowledge you can't fit fatter tires without larger rims.

I would recommend staying with the tire sizing you have now for those wheel specs.
