LED's shouldn't burn out as it was designed to outlast the life of your car but sometimes wires get loose, powerpacks burn out resistors go bad etc etc. You have a 1 year warranty.
personally, I can tell you if the LED's you got is from a bad batch, you will know really soon, as it will start acting up. but if it works fine, for a couple months, it should stay that way.

Thanks gal
What you guys think should I get these D-TEC leds I really can't make up my mind since there's so many different makes and the prices vary soo much. I don't want it too expensive like the LUX but I really want to buy a good pair of bright LEDs |

I'm not sure how Gaifaun always has such a great experience with his vendors...but I am definitely not as satisfied. I took a comparison photo of these and the stock bulbs and the stock bulbs are much brighter.
These pictures were taken with a D5100 with the 35mm NIKKOR lens. f/3.5 1/50sec ISO-200 full manual exposure so you can expect them to be quite objective. I just send an email to Derrick at E92 lighting asking what the heck is going on. I hope he gets back to me soon... Engine is running for all these center (focus point between grills) DTEC v2 (focus point on inner eye) Stock halogen H8 (focus point on inner eye) |

I was surfing through eBay and found them.

Got a similar set for Christmas and am really happy with them. Here is the link: 20W CREE LED Angel Eye Bulbs
Nice, bright, white light. Visible during the day (as much as any other, at least), and they look fantastic at night. Plus, the price is great. |

I don't have any interference with my TPMS system with my set. Been working flawlessly since I installed them.

thanks guys.
Yep uninstalled them and the TPMS started working almost immediately.. Seems as if many people have run into issues with this.. it's unfortunate as i really do like the lighting it produces.. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=771043 I bought it on eBay, hopefully the seller has enough decency to let me refund it fully.. . |

Were you getting the warning at random times? cause my TPMS inactive warning pops up every 1-3 weeks since install.

I got back and reset the TPMS to try again, and it took almost 5 minutes to reset, and within 2 seconds after resetting, the TPMS malfunction came on again. I removed it after I got back home today, and the error went off after resetting it again and driving it out. I saw someone post something about shielding the wires with aluminum foil? Sounds extremely ghetto and tedious..I don't know if I want to try reinstalling them.. BTW, this is the one i bought. link |

Ok, so since I purchased my LED lights from eBay, I really don't have confidence I will get my money back in full. After uninstalling the lights, i just tried (very skeptically) and wrapped ALL the wire (red and black each individually) with aluminum foil. I did it from the beginning to the end of each wire, as long as it was visible i wrapped it. I reinstalled the lights after doing so, and apparently the aluminum foil really does block the radio frequency interruption. I will drive it around for a few days to see if the TPMS error shows again.
P.S. i left out the Error Cancelling Resistors, and i'm driving a 2007 E92, most likely FRM2 |

I've got the DTEC angel eyes and after a day of driving I got the TPMS error. I read the post about wrapping the wires in aluminum foil so I tried it. I just grabbed the wires that I could easily get to for the DTEC bulbs (I didn't even unplug the bulb) and wrapped several layers of aluminum foil around the group of wires. Shoved it back in the headlight housing and that was it. You don't see any foil on the outside. It's been a week and no more error, so it has apparently worked.
