I have comfort access, but the KEYFOB not working. Need help please

I have a 335is, but the key fob is not working when I tried to open the door nor starting the car. I used to be able to grab the handle and the door open, press clutch and press the start button to start the car, but none of that works now unless I physically put the key fob in to start it up. What's the issue? Battery low? Aslo, tomorrow I'm going to see a dealer about the issue I have, and my car has an aftermarket cold air intake. Would they void my warranty if they find out I have it in my car? Thank you in advance.

Put a new battery in the fob, then unlock it by pressing the keyfob, start it with the key in the slot. After that it should work as normal again.

As far as the intake goes, don't risk it, especially since the intake literally takes 15 mins.

I went to Braman today and they said I have to pay $169 for diagnostic because the key only works when I press it to unlock the car, and I have to put in to start the car. They have to do a diagnostic and reprogram it for the key to start working. Shouldn't this cover under the warranty? Any body willing to help please?

Did you do as the first post said and replace the battery in the FOB? If not, do that.

Correct. Go to the dealer and tell them what it is doing. Unless it is something you broke (doubtful) your warranty should cover all costs.
