ripped front bumper lining

hey i ripped the bottom of my front bumper on a parking space today

From taking a look under it looks like just the painted portion has ripped off and now looking at my car from the front you can see the extended portion of the ripped painted bumper ripped off. I was quoted 600 to fix this. That seemed really expensive since it doesnt even seem like that major of a job. Anyone know of a way I can fix this myself or something?

We need pics to see the severity of it. When I first got my car something similar happened, and I went to 3 local body shops. One wanted $350, one $500, and one $600.

I think the price comes in fabricating the new material and painting to make it look flush again. I wouldn't attempt to fix it myself personally. Look around for cheaper body shops near you.

you can have it fabricated and fixed but it may be eh, the $600 quote is probably for a new bumper. but maybe a good idea to buy an aftermarket bumper you want now? would probably end up being less than 600.
