Speakers popping with head unit repeatedly turning on and off

Hello!! I’ve recently had a problem with my speakers and I was wondering if I’ve completely blown the whole sound system or there might be a loose wire somewhere. I was driving home and my speakers suddenly popped and my head unit shut off, this repeated until I turned the car off, turned the car back on but not the engine and it played fine fire a bit before doing the same thing again, I had noticed that my drivers side front sore speaker sounded distorted a few weeks prior, I love listening to music while I’m driving and I’m hoping getting an own set from a parts car or brand new won’t be so expensive with the labour

Front door speaker* and what I mean by repeating is that the headunit will restart and the speakers would pop and it would turn off again and repeat that. I’ve noticed that if I play it at a low volume it can last longer without the pop and reset but eventually still does the same thing I can take a video of it when I can

I have also double checked the fuses and they’re okay so it’s not a blown fuse )

There could be several causes for this issue. You haven't given us much info on the car you drive, aside from "E90", so we don't know which sound system you have. Have you searched the forums and found the similar issues that others are experiencing? Crackling, popping and radio shutting off, is very often caused by the amplifier getting wet. The amp sits in a trunk-well that fills up with water when sunroof drains block up or other leaks occur. It could also be the Roof Function Center circuit board going bonkers after getting wet or coated with road pollution. It could also be a speaker or speaker harness shorting out. Or one of the components on the fiber-optic MOST bus (like the Amp or TCU) having trouble communicating.

First thing to do if you have one of the sound system's in the amp
is to check for water damage at the amp due to clogged water drains
or bad seals.

Number one identify your sound system this is not the head unit.

Use mdecoder.com the options in the 6xx range generally 676 677 or 752 identify
sound system's with amp's in the US at least.
