Adding bluetooth/CarPlay to a non iDrive E91

How do I go about doing this? Possible with just a head unit swap? If so, which are the ones that are recommended? Did a search, I'm sure the threads are out there but they didn't pop up...

What audio package do you have? Logic7 makes it more difficult to keep an oem look, but there are ways to do it with relatively low audio quality compromises, or you can have a less stock looking head unit that performs pretty well.
