Wet SO M3 at dusk shoot: Winter wheels, IND, 20% tints, and Black Powder Coated tips
Figured I'd drop some higher res pics as its been a while.
Author's note: I was just finishing up at the brushless spray gun car wash and saw the awesome sky, so I left without even bothering to dry the car properly . It was "clean enough" for some pics but it still ain't clean! New mods include:
Sorry about the shitty interior pic, I owe some high res Amaro Brown shots to you all but the lighting just wasn't good enough on the rest of em so I didn't bother. I need to get the camera out during the day time. Anyways, enjoy

That front wheel gap looks awful in these pics lol, I guess its cause I was crouching down to shoot.
What do you guys say when you're talking about your car's "tints?" Check out my tint? That's the way I've always heard it (but I have grown up in and still live in NY !

Spots > Salt. I'm washing like every 3 days right now that's the best I can do without going completely bonkers.

Very nice. Still happy about Amaro choice? I'm undecided about the interior and Amaro is one of the possible options. I like the look but it's maybe a bit too light for my taste, but maybe it looks different in person.

I absolutely love the Amaro. The photo in this thread makes it look a little bit less brown and more beige then it really looks, so it does have a bit of a darker tone. I need a nice sunny day to snap some windows open interior shots, and they are few and far between right now

Dude it really looks that way! from normal angles I never noticed the gap so much before haha. If I looked at these pics of someone elses car I'd ask if they were sure the shipping blocks were taken off! As it rides more comfortably then my old 650 in comfort and way more aggressively in sport+ I'm assuming this isn't the case though. Maybe just the profile of my winter tires?!?

....and I am getting close to giving up on keeping Lucy clean. I give her a good hosing off once a week but she is half filthy again by the time I get her home.....sigh.

Its a never ending battle. . . Gotta keep at it though. That's why I don't care about not drying it perfectly every time at least I'm getting the 3 lbs of friggin salt off every 3 days.

It's always the same story when I'm going to order a new car, the colors are killing me (in this case the interior and exterior as well ). |

My MB has the same colour interior as Amaro and it is very lovely. Never get tired of it. But, with an SS exterior, I think Cohiba would be outstanding (in fact, had I not got TB/SS for Lucy, my next call was likely SS/Cohiba). Those who think it is a problem with the black bits are just living in 1970s fashion land (no brown shoes with black suits, etc). You can totally pull it off.

My favourites are: Tanzanite Blue + Silverstone or Amaro Brown Silverstone + Cohiba Brown or Black (I guess Amaro would be too light) Mineral Grey + Silverstone or Amaro Brown I actually like Sakhir Orange exterior as well, but I'm afraid I don't have the balls for that one. |
