I replaced my DME mevd172 (made by Continental) with mevd1726(made by Bosch). I've already let the progarmmer to change ISN and VIN to mine with PCM (A device that modifies dme).

Because the MEVD1726 once installed in a E71 X6, then i code the dme by WINKFT, UPDATE ZUSB for my E92 335i and VIN.

But now the VIN on mhd APP is still the old VIN instead of mine.

Although the VIN on INPA is already mine.

I've already heard that MHD only check the VIN in the first entry of the UIF.
So the reason why MHD displays OLD VIN is because UIF stores the OLD VIN?
If so, how do i modify the first entry of the UIF?
Can it be done using tool32 with Dcan line?

And i already have a problem that the cas are not communicating. On istaD the CAS MODEL shows red. But i can still start the engine ,and gear always locked on 2.

Pretty much the same thing here. Pulled the ISN from msd80 and wrote it to the msd81. flashed with dme with winkfp correct vin but mhd shows as yours. But if read car with any other obd diagnostic including ISTA, INPA. It will pull the correct VIN.

Apparently MSD8x DMEs have two AIFs vin numbers probably the same in your case. So wherever MHD reads the vin from i'm not 100%

I changed the VIN in the 2mb map itself also the 8kb 95640 eeprom but MHD still sees donor vin. So i dont know! Still though, it's a non issue for me just my ocd to correct it
