Tried the PlastiDipping thing
So I tried plasti-dipping my e90. I think it came out pretty well IMO... What do you all think??
Before I took off the dip from the emblems on the wheels

It looks ok but that half and half is ugly IMO. Either all matte or all metallic.

It looks like you did a good job with the Dip. The question of if people like it will most likely be varied. The most important thing is that you like it because that is all that truly matters. But you did ask for opinions so I am going to give you mine. It all depends on how old you are. I am 35, have an office job that requires a suit and tie, and I would not be caught dead driving that car with the Dip and rims because I am shallow and I care what my clients and coworkers think. If you are in your early 20's or late teens then I think this car would suit you. If you are not then maybe you just like the way it looks and that's OK too. Clean work but not my taste.

Are you done or just showing the progress of your work? If you're finished then it doesn't look that great to me.

Here's the new color for the wheels BTW, it's a darker gold. I'm still working out the perfect combo... Thankfully, if I hate it, I just remove it and all is well with the world

Actually, I don't know if that pic does the wheels justice. I may try taking a pic with my DSLR later

Nah I'll pass lol. It's a bit overkill with the stripes on the hood and half the car being dipped. Plus your mods are weak to pull this off. Work on getting the bigger things before you dip. You need to change that front bumper to M3 or M Sport ASAP. Sell the splitters for some extra cash.
I dig the wheels and color though. Looks good!

Thanks for the input everyone! @DC_OldBoy, I agree. I was just looking up LCI conversions last night. Saw that super clean black pre-lci 328 and I almost lost it lol. I've always wanted a M Tech front bumper, but a wedding and job loss over the last year aren't cheap! Enough of the personal stuff though, I found a way to make the "frozen" look with a black base of plastidip, so I'm going to work on that. The whole reason I even did it was because we're in the process of providing this service with our other services, and figured although the guys I started this business with are great at it, I should definitely be great at it too. Seems to be a huge unsaturated market for it in my area. Like most of you said, the cleanliness of the lines is great. That was the goal!
