335 RWD EDC to Static Left/Right Strut Search
Hello,
Car: 2014 335i RWD with EDC Looking to do an EDC delete (with kit) but upon reading through posts I'm seeing that my car has separate left and right struts with left and right end links. So with that in mind would I need to get another left end link to replace the right end link? If so, will that change the dynamic of how the car will drive/affect the sway bar in an odd manner? Basically will having two left end links cause any issues? There must be a reason for left AND right end links right? Sorry i'm new to all of this. Thanks! |

I've been researching this as well and came to the same conclusion. 2017 340i, and ditching my EDC as well for some Koni yellows + Eibach pro's w F80 bumpstops.
I ended up ordering (2) Moog Links. Plan to install in the next month or so. It won't affect anything as that's how all the static cars come with to begin with

Good to hear! I'm doing Koni Special Active + Eibach spring with F80 bumpstops.
Hoping the Koni's treat me well for these MI roads... |

Affect the handling? Well, once you get new struts, the handling dramatic improves
I removed the EDC struts/shocks on my 15 435i with the ST XA coilovers. And yes, replaced ONE sway bar link. Handling, ride, etc. is XX% better than the soft EDC/floaty suspension. No noticeable difference when going right or left from the updated end link. |
