Feeler: 2011 E90 M3
This is a feeler at this point, but I am considering selling my E90 M3. Modifications and specs is to the left in my "garage list". I'm throwing this out as a feeler because I do think it is possible that there is someone out there that would appreciate the mods done to this car and might want the car complete, as is. The car would come with the stock ZCP wheels in addition to the LM-R's. It would also come with the stock front bumper with painted reflectors. In addition, I have the stock exhaust, suspension, brakes....everything. I have just over $100k invested in the car. It currently has approximately 39k miles. If you happen to be interested, please email me at jpowerok at gmail dot com.

These threads have many pics. Most of the good quality photos do not have the exhaust or brakes installed.

I don't want to sell it at all. I am needing something with a little more utility to carry bikes and get around when the weather is bad. I cannot continue to take my wife's car every time we get a dusting of snow. So, my first thought was to get something in addition to the M3 and I went ahead and ordered an X1 xdrive35i with the m-sport package. The X1 is on the boat and headed this way. Of course, I will have to make it unique but plan to keep it pretty stock-like for the most part. As for the M3, I don't have a place to store it and thought I'd throw a feeler out there to see if anyone might be interested in it. I have had a lot of cool cars to drive daily and this is just the best car I have ever had.
Many years ago, I was the buyer of an E36 M3 that was just as special as this E90. I let the seller know that I was seriously interested and spent some time getting to know him. He was in no hurry to sell. He was asking more than most cars on the market but considering the mods and what it would cost to do those mods on my own, the price was fair. I didn't spend a lot of time trying to get him to lower his price. He felt I would be a worthy buyer and give the car a good home and he told me his bottom dollar. I bought the car with an agreement that he had the first right to buy the car back if I sold it. We have stayed in touch since I bought the car in 2003. A few years ago I contacted him to ask him a question regarding getting into road biking and it turned out that he has become my best friend. So, in a nutshell, I have experienced what it is like to buy a car like this one. I will shed multiple tears if it sells, but it might be best for the car to be enjoyed by someone else. Too bad I don't have more garage space.

Solution: build another garage.
Hate to think you might part with this beauty, Justin. If I had the money, I'd definitely make you an offer. If you end up deciding to sell and part out, definitely keep me in the loop (no shipping needed!). Does your brother still have your old E36?

Preston does still have the E36. It will either stay in the family or go back to its original owner. When Preston feels like he needs to let go of it, I will have to find a way to purchase it back from him. Hopefully I will have a garage big enough by then.

Maybe by the time you're truly ready to let your car go, I'll actually be in a position to buy it from you. I'd hate to see such a masterpiece be parted out as well...

For anyone that might be interested, I am a little bit more motivated to sell the car due to some business things I have going on. Car has been detailed and coated with cquartz to help keep it nice. If you are serious and are interested, please email me at jpowerok at gmail dot com. I have been stuck on $65k as my selling number but I might drift from that for the right buyer. I will shed a tear as the buyer drives off in the car
