Edmonton area help -- slightly unusual request

As the tag would suggest contemplating a BMW. Specifically a 340i xdrive with both M performance packages, but on the test drive the road noise was atrocious on the highway.

I suspect that this is largely the runflat tires. The C43 I test drove was similarly loud on the highway and it too has runflats. The A4, on go-flats is much quieter -- yes different car and all but still. S4 is out of contention because of the fixed headrests, not safe for someone of my height to prevent whiplash.

I was wondering if anyone in the area has a 3-series (340 would be fantastic) that they ditched the runflats on and would be willing to give me a ride to see if that takes the road noise down to an acceptable level. A bit of an unusual request but if anyone could help me out...

Thanks

Another question, has anyone ever measure the decibels in the car with both runflats and non-runflats on the same road/speed? The type of non-runflat will affect the sound levels but would be interesting, some numbers instead of the anecdotal 'much quieter and smoother'.

I can, but I'm on 19s with KW street comforts so probably not a perfectly comparable test...

Actually that'd probably work, the ride quality will be different, but the the KW street comforts shouldn't alter the road noise.

Side Note - Not meaning to get off topic

Anyone have(or know of anyone) with a 440 and is looking for a fairly new M-Performance Exhaust with the sound kit (muffler, mid pipe, and resonator delete) please send me a PM. Have one for sale. Will sell to anyone in the Alberta area.
Not 100% sure if it fits 435, 335,340 tho.. would half to do some research on that.

I noticed an audible difference/improvement with regards to road noise in my 2014 328ix when I changed my run flats to 18" Michelin Pilot Super Sport 4S tires! Handles a lot better as well. Well worth the investment IMHO.
