Lightbulb new downpipe

I plan on upgrading my downpipe soon but didn't want to go too crazy and was wondering if there had been a huge difference in catted downpipes Like I plan on going with CTS but there are more reliable reviews online that show that VRSF is really good so should I just wait and get VRSF or would the CTS one be roughly the same

HJS cats are the way to go. Expensive but well worth the money. I'd go with Fabspeed.

If you need to pass emissions via cat monitor, you need a more expensive cat; fabspeed or AA

As mentioned, if the CEL or emission is a concern, you should get the fabspeed or Active Autowerke.

If thats not a concern, MAD or CTS are excellent options with proven quality and fitment

Op, Are you tuned?

Catted will be slightly quieter and will reduce smell.

Catless will give the most sound and power.

We sell both options and both are currently in stock and ready to ship. - https://mad-us.com/3-series/

Catted

Non catted

I am tuned and I have found out that I’m not required for a emissions test but I’m very against smell I can’t stand it especially since I have a convertible so I just wanted something to creep up towards stage 2

I cant comment from person experience how much smell the "cheaper" catted DPs eliminate but it should be most of them. If price isnt an issue you can go AA or fabspeed.
