You people need cats. They're designed to keep mice out of cars and leave warning messages better than drug cartels. Living on a canal and with fruit trees everywhere, it became real clear, real fast that a pack of cats was in order. Add in that it's now cold, meaning these things are looking for insulation wherever they can find it--wiring looms, attics, etc., go down to the pound and get you a garage cat or two.

Everything has been sorted now. Seems to only have been the wire at the top of the engine bay in the picture and the outside temperature sensor wire at the bottom of the bumper.

Mine is garaged. First they come into the garage to get out of the weather and away from predators, then they find a nice cozy spot to make their nest. If it has tasty wires to knosh on all the better.

Yeh, if it's garage kept, some sticky traps with peanut butter and sharp cheddar cheese should work, to keep them out of the car. When my Audi had mice get into the bay it was because I had to leave my car in the work parking lot for 4 days at a time, and the mice loved the warm engine bay, and what the wires were coated in.

When I lived near a canal with fruit trees, cats were a must to keep the mice in check. They really do leave those warning messages, don't they? It's amazing how they instinctively know how to handle pests.
I've been dealing with my own pest problems at home, so I understand the struggle. I found this pest control company that seems pretty reliable at handling all sorts of pests. I'm thinking I should give them a try before my house gets overrun by these creepy crawlies. Check out PestControlCompanies.net for more info.

English language is very interesting. Mouse in plural form is Mice. But House in plural form is Houses. Why not Mouses?? Or Hice?

LOL

Wouldn't call it "interesting". It really makes no sense in most cases. Red, read ("reed"), read are 3 different words, meaning 3-different things. I pitty anyone that is learning English as a second language!
