Thanks,
I might be leaning towards these, now that they come in my size, and because of this article: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/ar...hang-yokohama/ |

So FYI there are also some new Nankang tires (CR-S) that might be the best out of all the 200tw based on preliminary reports but I haven’t checked their pricing. I’m already considering trying the nankang for my next tire though based on a grassroots review my buddy sent me last night that isn’t published yet but is available for their subscribers. Grassroots had the CR-S faster than the RE-71rs and the AO52 in their 3 way test. Their summary of the test was that it was as fast as anything else they had ever tested.

I broke the clips on mine trying to install the cabin filter panel over the M3 strut brace, resulting in the same leak. Any interference from the M3 brace hardware with the cabin filter panel also prevented the gasket from sealing properly. I was able to fix it by adding 3/8"x1/4" EPDM door weatherstripping to the cabin filter cowl, where it seals against the top of the profile gasket: https://www.duckbrand.com/products/w...-25-in-x-17-ft |

I have been in Europe for a few days and have noticed sort of new bmws (2014+) with the msport package having the bigger brakes M blue calipers on them. These cars are not the 35i’s or m40i’s they are 18i/d and 20i’s. It’s very interesting to notice how the US and European cars differ in small ways.
P.S. Also they small M badges on the side (similar to the m340i) |

Any update on the ball joints in your rear suspension? I seem to remember you used Meyle ones for the trailing arms? Mine seem to be failing, especially in my toe arms, after 20k miles/2 years... Though I can see the rubber gaiter on one of the trailing arm joints has split a little - WTF!?

I test fitted those rivet nuts the other day during an M3 sway bar install, and those boys just slip right on out. Call me ignorant, but how are they held in? Are they mushroomed under the proper torque spec? (if so, what is that torque?) |
