Help! Crank no start on N52 325i after cleaning vanos solenoids

Hi, I have an 06' 325i (N52B25A) and the engine ran fine but the car had a CEL due to codes 2A82 and 2A98. I went ahead and cleaned the solenoids with brake cleaner and compressed air and put them back in in the same positions and tried to start the car. It started ran for like 3 seconds with misfire and then died. Now it cranks but does not start. ISTA now reads following codes: 2A82, 2A87, 2A98, 2A99, 2A9A. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do or check in order to get it running? Thanks in advance for all replies.

Are you sure you didn't mix the connectors?

Yes, the top one is the longer connector and the bottom one is the 90 degree one.

Since it ran before you took out the solenoids I'd point to that, but it's really weird having both fail at the same time. Your first four codes are all referring to the vanos system btw, 2A98 that was there before it's an intake camshaft/crankshaft correlation code that could be anything, from being triggered by a slow solenoid to vanos adjusters to timing being out.
2A9A points to the camshaft position sensor, maybe try to clean the contacts, or the sensor itself broke

Update: I probably destroyed the solenoids while cleaning them. Bought a pair of new ones and engine runs as good as new now.
