Stage 3 xHP settings?

Anyone got any good custom settings they run on xHP? I’m running an off the shelf 93 oct map from BM3 on my 340i.

Run their OTS version? I've found stage 3 tends to have some harsh shift flares on downshifts. Stage 2 is a lot more refined.

Stage 3 is horrible for the street. It's not bad when cold but after driving for an hour or so and the trans is proper hot, the low speed shifts in traffic are jolty as hell.

That is one issue I have with XHP in general - the cold > hot mapping is poor. Not as consistent as BMW's own map.

Check out Rod Sutphin's custom XHP tune. Much better than the stock xhp stage tunes, perfect for daily driving and the occasional spirited drive.

Sounds interesting! Where does one acquire those from?

Select your model and preferences, and he will send you a "custom" tune file you flash via XHP.

If I remember correctly, kern417 has a video of his positive impressions of it.
