I thought we should have taken his C away earlier this year when we were struggling and given it to Grier who seemed to always give 110% every shift, every game, but I doubt that will happen, and you can't strip it from him and retain him, he must voluntarily give it up and I just dont see that happening.

yeah even when Modano was stripped for Morrow...he did it "voluntarily" but you could tell he wasn't real happy about it! lol

That being said, your WCF opponent will be much tougher than either of the two you had faced previously. You make a very good point. Whoever the Wings face will have a much tougher netminder.

Yeah, we only won the whole Presidents Trophy and all.

Again, anything can happen. Detroit is peeking again like they did in the 1st 50 games of the season. As long as they keep this up teams have to be perfect every game, get every bounce and call. Not going to happen in a 7 game series. The only thing that stops the Wings from the final is the Wings. Neither Dallas or San Jose has what it takes right now and the longer they beat the crap out of each other the worse it is going to be.

As I recall, last time you won the presidents trophy you lost in the first round to Edmonton.

And the Sharks and the Stars both have what it takes, solid defense and great goaltending. If the Sharks can get their passes much more crisp from tape to tape and get the penalty kill to the level it was at in the regular season and McLaren comes back from his injury I think both the Stars and the Wings are in trouble.

But the officiating has been horrible all around throughout the playoffs.

The calls have been horrid. This series should of been 2-2 tonight. I realize you are a Dallas fan, but be honest with yourself. The calls have been ALL dallas up until tonight. We should be up 3-2 as of right now. Instead we are 2-3. And btw Jewpac what is up with Grier? His performance makes me want to cry. He needs to step up NOW or be cut...

I know everyone likes to blame the refs, however they've been awful lately. So many bad/missed calls that it's almost a joke.
