Sport mode with DSC deactivated -330d
Sorry if this has been questioned before but I'm trying to get my head around the difference between switching to Sport + mode (ie DSC disabled) and staying in Sport and disabling the DSC by holding down the button - is the result the same thing??

My understanding is that you can be in Sport mode with DSC semi-off (ie the DSC button pressed once) and this is the same as Sport + mode? Then in Sport mode you can have DSC totally off (by holding down the DSC button) but you can't do this in Sport +?

pressing the button once activates DTC, Dynamic Traction Control, which is also what happens when u go into Sport+. DTC allows for some extra wheel spin. DSC, Dynamic Stability Control, is still on and ready to save u if things go really out of control. To shut DSC off you press and hold the button for a few seconds. Then you´re on you own.
If this can be done or not in Sport+ I have no clue, never had any reason to do that.
