Anybody know how to put on driver side fender to bumper guide?

Yesterday after removing headlight when putting back together the bumper one of the guide holes that the 8mm screws go into was almost non existent. The only way the screw would fit is if I didn't connect the bumper to the fender. I just bought the new guide but there's no tutorial/videos on installing it. Any tips or videos on this? Need to remove fender and it straight forward from there just make sure fender is not what’s broken
