Anyone ever ran General G-MAX AS-03 tires?
Im in need to replace my rear tires. I just bought my 335i back in June and apparently the previous owner never rotated the tires. So now my rears are slick. Run-flats are on now but im ditching them. Money is alittle tight now due to closing on a house so Im looking at just throwing 2 of these tires on and running them until the fronts are worn down and throwing two of the generals on to match the rears. Anyone have any input?

check the Wheels and Tires section - should be a fair number of first-hand reviews in there. i'm currently running them and i've been pleased with them for an all-season tire.

Assuming OP's car has staggered wheels, it would be why the PO didn't rotate tires.
I have those Generals on my e46. Normal AS tire. |

They're pretty good tires, I felt really safe when it rained but never got to test them out in the snow. But by looking at the tread patterns, it don't look like it'll perform well as the Conti DWS which is my current tires.

I have the Conti Ext-contact DWS now and honestly don't like them...Its a awful ride. Hard...very rough ride. Very noisy. Terrible wheel hop. I hate them. Just my experience on them.

I've had as-03's for about half a year, you literally can't drive them in the snow even when they have only 3000km on them.
Everyday driving is fine with the AS-03. Ride is about the same as the DWS but like I said the AS-03 cannot drive in the snow. In the rain, it works until you go WOT but DWS can handle WOT in the rain easily. DWS can handle more spirited driving easier. Realized all season tires pretty much does nothing more than summer tires though so I've switched to hankook v12's and michelin PSS and also a set of winter tires just for snow. |

They are pretty solid all-seasons, but they're not the quietest options. Overall, they're a good alternative to the DWS.
